It’s days like this that make me glad I live in a god-fearing city instead of one filled with criminals blasting Rick Astley hits and Chuck Norris shirts….if it were the case, I fear I would join the ranks…

Dick Hibma gave it a valiant effort, but alas the stubborn farmers that pit the countryside are a hard bunch to convince. I guess they figure, “Hey it works…” The only problem with that, is that you never really know what the difference is, and I doubt any the majority of them actually check to see if any new policies are being provided by their elected candidate.

My thoughts on the issue was the fact that it would have been nice to have some new, innovative and bright ideas on the table, and I believe Dick Hibma was the man to do this. I guess we’ll have to wait for next round. I must admit though, it was a good race while it lasted.

A 75-year-old Meaford man has been charged after a 15-year-old girl reported being touched inappropriately by an older man. The incident allegedly occurred on Friday night at a private home in Meaford and was reported the next day by the teenage girl, Grey County OPP said n a news release Tuesday. Charlie Brown is charged with sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference.

3. High Beer prices, and old women who if you sleep with, will continue to call the next day, and possibly the week after and even leave you presents on your doorsteps that may or may not contain Anthrax.
